This was the most difficult theme so far.

I spent 3 hours with 8 different setups and none of them turned out like I wanted. Some looked like yearbook photos. Others were not lit correctly or shot from the right angle. This process taught me a lot about patience, and really made me appreciate self portraits that are well done. The ability to take a photo that isn't just a snapshot of yourself in some context, but rather a statement with deeper meaning about who you are is truly an art form.
