@mackle - the hard-boiled wonderland and the end of the world. and yeah.... it's pretty great so far.

i'd read his memoir (i guess?) "what i talk about when i talk about running" on a whim and liked his writing style. this is the first of his fiction books i've read. strange, but really interesting.
