It would seem that I was on the right track. But, now it seems to have doubled back on itself. What could the Dastardly DokCrush be up to?? This appears to be the lair of Master Ozuhiro, what with all the dark alley covered in ominous-looking fencing.

Egads!! He must be employing the Black Ninjitsu!! Well, I know just the remedy for that!
