Magic box of wonders. --

Unedited digital picture, through the lens view, of my Rolleiflex 2.8F, as some did here.
I really would like to encourage you people to use film. Get that old camera you have, try some new (and improved) films, get that feeling of liberty.

And if you like, you could do as me, buy another camera, a better one, try maybe with a 35mm to start, then move to 120(medium format) and start to do great photos. The next step would be large format photography, just for the most courage and dedicated.
You will be amazed at the quality you can produce, with today's scanners, films and a good camera with a good lens.
No moustache there yet, but check my flickr if you want to see what I'm talking about. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dannzii/

Long live to film photography. See you around !

Again with the fancy vintage cameras. I'm loving the classic style running throughout your series. Great stuff!

Hale did some exceptional film shots for Whiskerino, MM's beard equivalent. CLAME for it.

@hale Added you there. I think I'm doing some 35mm shots on the end of my rolls to post here (I want to stay true to posting at the same day) when I get my battery. This may be at the third week of may.

@Dannz - thanks! I look forward to seeing your film shots. It's really difficult if you want to do the same day posting, I guess if you had access to your own darkroom it could be done. Most of my film shots from last Moustache May and Whiskerino were shot on 12 frame rolls to cut down on wasted film, then processed at a drugstore photolab that offered one hour developing.

Dannz says:
@hale Here they offer 1 hour developing at one store I think, what takes time is the scanning, and I don't have one, or one darkroom. But I will try to talk to them and tell I need at the same day, so if I take it in the morning I can still post at night. I am at another time zone, +4 hours difference, so I think I can do it, at least one time. The bad thing the only film I have is a 36 roll Kodak PROIMAGE 100, so this first try will need to be the last photo on it. I'm used to 12 photos from Medium Format, I don't take 35mm photos since 2009, I got in love with my Rollei haha.

I like your dedication to taking and posting your pictures on the same day. I agree.

Dannz says:
Thanks Dschonn, it takes all the fun out and it's not fair if someone posts an older picture. And if I'm doing one with film, it will be at the same day too :)

hale says:
@Dannz, you may check and see if the place that processes your 35mm will do scanning too. I usually only get a disc with images and the negatives. I don't own a scanner so this works well for me.
