stackin' mah bread.

I've been saving money in Elvis for 2 years. So far, with just quarters and dollars I have nearly $700.

great for a rainy day. I did the same in high school all the way to college. Of course I only made it to about $350.

There was a 1943 wheat penny in the mix. The lady and I decided to start looking for rare/valuable coins in the mix. Going to take us twice as long to count, but totally worth it.

great looking bank

Official Curator Statement: this is a BIT heavy on the Photoshop / Collage front. One image would suffice (the far right one?) and then you can link to more to tell ya story.

It is my job to inform you of this. Hope you earned a bunch!

@Hodges. I have been obsessing over wheat pennies for months. i nearly lost it when Ben handed me the 1943 wheat penny. about half way through counting quarters I decided to start looking for valuable ones. we had to unroll and inspect SEVERAL rolls just in case. He caught my little coin collecting bug. vanbert, no coinstar. they can't have 10% of OUR money!!!

@Mackle, on our behalf, after seeing derble's mayor photo, I thought it would be ok. Our bad; it won't happen again.

My grandfather collected coins and got me started on it as a kid. I don't do much of it but when I run into wheat pennies I always save them. My oldest goes back to 1909.

@hodges, I'm absolutely jealous of your 1909 wheat penny.

@lurkingood, for the record - Derble's Mayor photo was on Meme Day; where it was specifically cited that photoshop rules were a bit more lax. No big deal.. just doin my job!
