Mostly because it reminds me of the days of watching Leave it to Beaver reruns. But that makes me think of Eddie Haskell, the troublemaker that he was. And one time he got the "Beave" to drive a car, and the Beaver got in trouble for it. Which reminds me of my days taking my driver's exam, and how a the same cat ran in front of my car twice on that test (as I was instructed to drive down parallel streets, which coincidentally twice intersected the cats path). Unfortunately, I hit the cat on the second passing. My heart pounded and sank, as I thought I would fail my driver's exam, and be ridiculed in Chemistry on the following Monday. But, alas, I only lost 5 points for hitting the cat.
While I did feel relief, I was disheartened by the fact that a cat's life is only worth 5 points, I could have killed 6 cats and passed the exam. Also, that our government places little value on the lives of animals.
@cleverchester that's an incredible story...the way we play it is cats are 10 points and dogs are 15...an extra 10 each if they die. It's a full 50 points to make a douchebag pedestrian have to jump out of the way your car. An extra 10 points if he never touches the car.
@mackle thanks man, that means a lot. But also, mayor shmayor...there's really only one place that I secretly have always wanted one of my photos to make it to on this site, and in a very cool round about way one already made it there this year. :)
@chad, I think I know what you mean and I think it's a high possibility. I mean, the month is young still but I have a hard time imagining anything better to represent the occasion.
