I could think of no better way to remove my moustache than to blast it off with a cannon.

Sadly, I shaved this morning. I had to testify today in the Louisiana Senate's Committee on Healthcare and Welfare. I am working to pass a bill aimed at protecting youth athletes from concussion and severe brain injury. As the Chairman of the Louisiana Youth Concussion Coalition, duty called and my DTM bumped down a notch on my priority list. Mackle, I beg your mercy. Please do not shame me. I'd like the MattyC treatment if at all possible but at worst case, to be Lurked. Landing in the Hall of Shame is a fate worse than death. I'd still like to comment and participate in discussions when I can. Please know, I did it for the kids.

Torn on the shame. 1) you're doing something great through the proper channels. 2) you are ASKING to stay in with the promise of regrowing.

On the other hand - kind of a smack in the face to moustaches that you shaved in the first place.

On the other OTHER hand - a DTM is like the seedling of a moustache - close but needs nurturing.
