Sorry I'm not keeping up on this like I should. I shouldn't have committed to this, on the eve of getting married. But I'll keep posting as I can.
Also, I had to let the chin hair come in a bit for the wedding, at the wife's request. But the moustache integrity remains intact. I'll bring it back in a minute. :)
On to today's photo... I've been dealing with a nasty kidney stone for several months (a trip to the emergency room about a month ago). And in a crazy moment of serendipity Sunday, I think I finally passed the stone… during my wedding reception… at the country club urinal I've been peeing in since I was a little kid.
Some might see it as a symbol of cleansing the past & starting something new, but it was just a hilarious coincidence.
This photo was taken right after getting married/passing that stone. It's subtle, but the sense of relief is in the eyes.
