For me, Moustache May is about a lot of things.

Bananas, Tacos, Stripes, Photography, Creativity, Community, etc.

But, most of all it's about Family. The families we come from, the families we live with, the family we've made here in these amazing, yet always ridiculous facial hair contests.

I've watched my comrades go through life lessons, deaths, births, engagements, marriages, divorces, illness and assorted hardships. In other words, we've all lived our lives good and bad. Together. Sharing and caring.

I've said it before. I love each of you.

I'm proud to be a part of this, and to have shared all my own life things with you.

So I leave you today with a picture of my family, who have always been here, since the first tour. They support me like no other and let me go on these crazy facial hair adventures for months.

My facial hair is going to take a long break, giving my wife a long vacation from hair in her mouth, and my boys a long vacation from scratchy good nights.

I have one more shot for tomorrow, but, this is my official so long.

And all this moving back to Nashville talk is getting me excited. Don't toy with my emotions James. And when you do, we need to hang A LOT more often. Less squandering time and letting life get in the way... more fun :{)
