05/09/2011 Image No.5 of Moustache May Pipe. Step Four: Dremel and Disc sand until your pipe takes the shape of it's choosing. The best part about this step is you can now get a great picture of what the pipe will look like stained by applying a bit of water to the wood. Getting the pipe wet will make the wood swell, but at this stage, it will not matter because we still have a lot of sanding to do. I am VERY pleased with the grain and the form this pipe is shaping into.
