Okay, so today is election day in Canada.
Today, for the first time in history, the New Democrat Party and its leader, Jack Layton, has won the privilege to become the official opposition.
It's a pretty big deal. The Bloc Québécois has lost a great deal of support in that province, which is also a big deal. The leaders of the Bloc and Liberal parties have lost their seats. Big changes.
Big changes for federalism, separatism, political identity, and lots other stuff. It could lead to a two-party system, which is way crazy.
And it's all because of Jack's moustache (probably).
