i slept in a bit this morning meaning i only had an hour or so of shop time before i had to get into work, so my priority wasn't on taking lots of process pictures.

thatguy great! i'm looking forward to it as well.

mooka haha, thanks. i've actually done very little work w/ pine, i'm more of a hardwood guy. (perhaps in the next mustache may project...)

I envy any man who does good wood work, anything I touch turns out crooked or unfinished.

malphrus says:
@ElDuQue it's a gripper (or grrripper) made by micro-jig.
i'm not a big 'shop gadget' guy by any means, but this thing is super great.

i feel safer using it and more confident so i rarely get user-caused binding around the blade. plus it keeps pressure on both the waste and the keeper pieces of stock.

@malphrus That thing is awesome. I'm afraid I'll have to get one!

malphrus says:
@ElDuQue yep. same thing i said.
got mine from amazon, basic model was 45 bucks well spent.

there are some add-ons that look cool and are useful but i'm cheap and the aforementioned $45 was already making my billfold hurt.
