@jbarr they work pretty well if you keep the blades sharpened. They definitely don't work well when rusty, as I learned in 1985 in my grandpa's backyard.

@jbarr derble I haven't had to sharpen it yet. It works pretty well. If the grass gets too tall it will lay down instead of getting in the blades.

wondermade Yeah I do. My yard is only 20x40 and 10-15 feet is taken up by a shed and garden. So its like 20x30
