At the close of last year's MM, I was exhausted. By forcing myself to attempt to be creative on a daily basis, I felt it was time consuming and frustrating; but, when September came I started to dream of 2011's MM. I began growing in January with high hopes of having a Fu-Manchu and in April it did not fully connect. I was undaunted by the lack of connectivity. My plan was to make it more about having fun with Lilia. Up until May, this year was crazy for the both of us. She finished her M.S. in Nutrition while working full time as a clinical R.D. and I will be graduating in June with a M.Ed. and an English teaching credential. May was the carrot at the end of the stick leading us onward. MM is something I will always look forward to and reflect on as my staches hang on the wall. Is it really goodbye to MM forever?
