yourfavorite says:: @pbuck - Its not so much that it is allowed, but rather that mackle tends to not care so much as long as what you're doing is 1) enjoyable for all, 2) doesn't do anything malicious, and 3) doesn't get in the way of everyone enjoying the site (your page included). So if you should decide to get into this sort of hackery, I encourage you to make sure its a fun idea and not just hackery for the sake of hackery. You should also be comfortable with mackle killing it should he deem it over the line. And lastly should you do anything mischievous with it, we all lose the right to have fun with this sort of thing. So I beg of you keep it safe and keep it cool. With that said, I look forward to what fun tricks you have up your sleeve.

So instead I do a bit of trickery with code to swap in a gif for a jpg. So if you disabled javascript in your browser, you would not see my animated gif.
