I'll bet when mackle made the first beard contest site way back when, he never could've imagined what it would evolve into... an experience so amazingly weird and awesome that words can't really do it justice.

also i find it extremely bizarre that facebook brought us closer together, not MM. but in a way, it was both. you're a truly awesome dude. your photots and legacy intimidated me for so long. people love your work. and i'm the type of guy that compares myself to people. needless to say - knowing you knew renaud was good enough for me - like i could get to know this zackle character. and i did, but not in the way i thought i did. but i'm grateful nonetheless.

i really enjoyed our time in palo alto (derp) and sorry for the lameness of the dollars snafu. but we had some good memories eh, mate?

hope to see you IRL someday soon and like i said, hit me up if and when you're up for that cross-country scenic drive. i'll be your wingman.
